LaCrem Knight In Shining Armor (Coal)
We were excited when the MFTHBA announced the establishment of
a pony registry and started looking for a stallion to cross with our gaited pony mares. Our search led us to Ohio
where we found Coal. We made arrangements to transport him to Missouri and he exceeded our expectations. Coal
has everything we hoped for in a stallion. Excellent temperment, a natural foxtrot and he is only 13.2 hands tall. He also has a beautiful head and passes it on to his offspring. The
icing on the cake is that Coal is a smokey black and is producing buckskins and palominos.

Coal has the wonderful Missouri Fox Trotter temperment and is easy to work with. He has a great
attitude and is very willing to do whatever is asked of him. His babies are blessed with the same disposition.

His foals that are out of pony mares or unregistered mares will be eligible for the Missouri Fox Trotting
Pony Registry for temporary papers. Permanent papers are not issued until the pony is 5 years old and passes a gait
and height inspection. Registered MFTHBA mares will get Blue or Gold papers on their offspring.
Breeding fees: On the farm breeding will still be $300 plus $5 a day mare care.
The cost for cooled shipped semen is $500.
We are not yet set up to collect Coal at home, so the additional costs are to cover the
vet and shipping charges. 2 doses of semen will be sent with each shipment.
